Sun brings the dawn of a new era of open petascale computing with the Sun Constellation System. Sun Constellation System is built on cost-effective, off-the-shelf components and state-of-the-art technologies. Servers, software, storage, and services are designed to deliver petascale performance in an open architecture. Up to 1.7 PetaFLOPS of computing power can be delivered by these energy efficient systems.
