Practical training at Google
After 7 months of study on campus at Maharishi University of Management, MSCS student Abdulaziz Mohammed From Ethiopia worked in a practical training position at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington for one year. When his position there ended, Abdul began to search for a new job so that he could complete the two years of practical training the program allows. He found a new position at Google.
"Working at Google is a little different from Microsoft," he said. "I am hired here at Google to help in the test automation effort. We are trying to put various projects in place in different environments, including Windows, MAC, and Linux. So, I get the chance to work in different environments."
"I learned a lot at both Microsoft and Google," he said with assurance that his employment at two of the top IT companies in the world will serve him well in his future career.
Abdul expressed his appreciation for the fundamentals he gained at Maharishi University of Management. "My studies at M.U.M. boosted my confidence and prepared me for the US competitive market," he said. "I am always thankful to the professors who helped me gain this knowledge and placement officers who guided me through the job hunt process."
