Mr. Mittag has over 25 years of experience in the fields of embedded systems design and development, and wireless systems integration.

As Chief Technologist, Larry played a critical role with Stellcom’s technology development and applications program, working closely with the Company’s engineering teams to evaluate and integrate new embedded and wireless technologies with existing architectures and reference platforms, Internet and mobile devices, software applications, and other elements of Stellcom’s knowledge platforms. Mr. Mittag has played a central role in Stellcom’s rapid emergence as a leading wireless systems integrator. The depth and breadth of his technical expertise in systems integration issues affords him a thorough understanding of how wireless technologies can integrate within an enterprise to deliver a broad range of wireless mobile solutions.

A leading expert in the field of embedded systems, embedded Internet and wireless computing, Mr. Mittag is a frequent guest lecturer and consultant to enterprises in the U.S. and abroad on a variety of technical and management topics, including the future of embedded and wireless system solutions. Larry originated an executive advisory series jointly with Gartner Group entitled, “Wireless Executive Breakfasts: Migration to a Wireless World,” discussing the requirements for successfully migrating existing enterprises in today's business economy with CEO’s of leading companies. In addition, Mr. Mittag has the author of several white papers including “The Data Wireless World” and the wireless primers, “What Every Senior Executive Needs to Know about the Wireless Future” and “What Every Senior Executive Can Do Today with Mobile Computing.”

Larry is a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences on embedded and wireless systems, and serves on the Advisory Committee of Embedded Systems Conference, Internet Device Conference and Communications Design Conference. He is also a Contributing Editor for Embedded Systems Programming, authors a monthly column for Communications Systems Design, and has written articles for leading business and technology publications.

Mr. Mittag holds a B.S. in Physics and Education from Wright State University.
